This was my second visit to the zoo, the first in 2007 when my two kids were younger. Still one of the best zoos I have ever visited. Although the park is quite hilly the enclosures are more natural … Full review by Charles P

If you think it will be crowded, yes. Yes, it will be. This Zoo is world famous for a reason. Very cool animals and plants left and right. Try planning ahead to see which animals you want to see to a… Full review by SDSU_Aztec

This is a great zoo! There's something for everyone. You can easily spend all day walking through the exhibits. The one gripe I have is that I wish the park was laid out better - with the walkways an… Full review by Nikki W
Hi, visiting San Diego Zoo in June and wondering if the "Special Experiences" - such as "Crazy about Cats" or "Paws and Claws" (or others) are worth the expense. If so, which ones do you recommend for or against?

I recommend walking in and immediately taking the free GUIDED BUS TOUR, and then proceed to walk through the park. START BY LOOKING AT THE MAP, and planning your way, I recommend starting with the giraffes. Don’t forget that there’s an elevator!!! If anyone is disabled, you can rent an electric scooter for $65 for the day. Highly recommended. I also recommend that you go on to SKYFARI at the end of the day RT, to get an overview of the Zoo.
I want to also say that they do not take reservations!!! AND THEY CAN SELL OUT!!! We always try to start right when they place opens at 9:00 AM. It's a good time to start anyway …
I want to also say that they do not take reservations!!! AND THEY CAN SELL OUT!!! We always try to start right when they place opens at 9:00 AM. It's a good time to start anyway because the animals are wide awake, and usually eating. We also usually start by renting the scooter, then riding it over to the Bus Tour.

Hi Judy, Whenever I go to the SD Zoo, I rent one, as well as to the Safari Park; and to Sea World. These things are amazing. At the Zoo and the Safari Park, they are about $60, but at Sea World they are about $100. In fact, I was at Sea World last weekend, only for 4 hours, but still worth it!!!
What is in the San Diego 3-for-1 Pass? Does it include everything in the one day( ex. Guided Bus Tour, Kangaroo Express Bus, Skyfari Aerial Tram, and all regularly scheduled experiences. )?
A:
All things mentioned above are included with admission to the park! The 3 for 1 also includes admission to both parks. Hope this was helpful! - Kevin
