While we realized it was not the best time of year to visit, we didn’t realize that there wasn’t a single creature to be seen. We did enjoy reading the signage. Glad parking was free. Full review by sharrongeg

Are there any butterflies there in mid April?
A:
The season is supposed to be late October through February. Peak seems to be Jan-early Feb, which was when we were there.
