The Voice season 11 winner, Jason “Sundance” Head, was shot “in the navel area” in an incident on his Texas ranch. Sundance’s wife Misty shared news of the incident via her husband’s official Facebook page on Friday.

It does not sound as though the injury is life-threatening at this time, as the bullet supposedly missed his vital organs, according to his wife Misty Head and his team. Additionally, Sundance's rep tells TheWrap the incident was not self-inflicted,

"We know it was either an accident or a nearby hunter — a stray bullet, possibly," the singer's agent tells EW.Sundance Head is recovering after suffering a gunshot to the stomach on his Texas ranch.The Voice winner,
