The Voice season 11 winner, Jason “Sundance” Head, was shot “in the navel area” in an incident on his Texas ranch. Sundance’s wife Misty shared news of the incident via her husband’s official Facebook page on Friday.

It does not sound as though the injury is life-threatening at this time, as the bullet supposedly missed his vital organs, according to his wife Misty Head and his team. Additionally, Sundance's rep tells TheWrap the incident was not self-inflicted,

Sundance Head is in stable condition after suffering a gunshot wound on Friday at his rural Texas ranch. The Season 11 winner of The Voice took a bullet in the stomach in what is being considered an accidental shooting, and he has since been airlifted to a hospital in Tyler, Texas, according to TMZ.
