Fresh off six Grammy nominations, singer shares first new original track since breakout LP Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going

“Good News” has Shaboozey pining for better days. Accompanied by a somber acoustic guitar and pedal steel guitar, he sings, “I need some good news / Sittin’ here, sippin’ on cold truth / Nobody knows what I’m goin’ through / Bet the devil wouldn’t walk in my shoes.”

Virginia singer Shaboozey now has himself a brand-new Billboard chart record. His J-Kwon-quoting country singalong “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has been dominating the pop and country charts for months, and according to a press release,

"A Bar Song (Tipsy)" may still be riding high atop the Billboard Hot 100, but Shaboozey has more "Good News" to share. On Friday (Nov. 15), the country breakout star dropped "Good News," his first new single since the release of his Billboard chart-topping Where I've Been Isn't Where I'm Going LP.

The new single follows the Virginia-born country and hip-hop singer-songwriter’s first-ever Grammy nominations
