A man who suffered critical injuries in a shooting Thursday afternoon in Oakland was transported to a hospital and pronounced deceased hours later, according to the Oakland Police Department. Oakland police responded at 4:15 p.

The teenager was discovered at about 7:30 p.m. Friday on the 1100 block of 86th Avenue, according to Oakland police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has yet been released. No arrests have been announced,
