Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan and his daughter Ira Khan recently sat down with US Surgeon General Dr Vivek Murthy to discuss the topic of mental health in some detail. During the interaction, the actor shared that he has begun taking therapy with his daughter.

I'm a fairly intelligent guy. I can think things through. I'm a sensible guy. If there's an issue, I can sort it out for myself. But no, I can't,” Aamir Khan said.

Aamir Khan recently revealed that he and his daughter Ira Khan have started joint therapy sessions to address and resolve issues that have persisted for years.While conversing in a new video on Netflix,

Aamir Khan revealed attending joint therapy with daughter Ira to improve their bond, stressing therapy’s importance. Ira, a mental health advocate, promotes awareness through her Agastu Foundation launched in 2021.

Aamir stated, "Therapy is so helpful. I think she (Ira) pushed me down that path. I would strongly recommend therapy to anyone who feels the need for it.

Aamir Khan is known as an actor who never shied away from addressing important issues be it societal issues or mental health. Recently, he opened up about amending his relationship with his daughter from his first marriage Ira Khan and revealed that they are taking joint therapy.
