Major League Baseball will produce and distribute local broadcasts for the Cincinnati Reds next season. The announcement was made on Thursday after a judge in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Houston approved the Reds and Diamond Sports Group ending their joint venture.

What had been long suspected became official Thursday as the Cincinnati Reds announced their home games would be produced and distributed by Major League Baseball. The Reds’ hunt for a new broadcast partner began last week when it terminated its joint venture with Diamond Sports Group,

Major League Baseball will take over Cincinnati Reds local TV broadcasts for the 2025 season, as had been expected after the Reds agreed to terminate their local TV deal with Diamond Sports Group last week.
